Chuck norris quote

"Jesus can do just about anything. He's like a religious icon equivalent of Chuck Norris." Correction... Jesus CAN do anything, and would totally dominate Chuck Norris... you know, if he wanted too...

my G . O . D is B . I . G

I know i haven't posted on here in a while.... well, life kind of caught up with me.
 Nelson:
its an ok place to be.

Musical was amazing! we saw God move in sooo many ways! We had people who would never step foot inside a church, sitting listening to us, we had people who claim "im not a believer" sitting in our lighting desk night after night, helping (seeds planted no doubt) we had people coming more than once because it was so amazing, and we had a standing ovation, FOR A CHRISTIAN PRODUCTION! God was hardout moving!

Im sad its been rainging pretty much all week!
This is not like Nelson, its just an identity crisis

This is one of my best friends, Karen, she's cool.
I miss her a lot when im in Christchurch, because she always makes me laugh, and always hugs me when im crying, and she lets me feed her McChicken burgers just cause its written on a piece of paper =D
and she always makes time for me.

I love her very much.

so pretty much lifes good right now... except i keep worrying about silly things like where im guna live and who am i guna marry and if im ever guna get a job this summer.

but then i worry about bigger things, like how God's guna save my parents and my brother.

i think these are the things we should be worried about, not worried as in worried, but concerned about, and what our part is guna be in it.

but i love Jesus, he's ma homeboy.

Today my mum woke me up with some sad news,

that my granddaddy passed away this morning.

he was 89

so i reckon he had a pretty good go at life.

this is for him, because i loved him a lot :'(

tomorrow we join the family in Timaru to say goodbye on Wednesday.

i pray that i can be an influence to my family, show them God, and that in this time of heartbreak and trouble, that he's comforting us.

Prayers are appriciated
xx

29 men will come out alive
In Jesus Name

because i'd quite like to know..

I would say that this past week makes for a pretty interesting one....
i quite liked "scared scriptless", im deffinatly going next year, more than once.
i seem to have unintentionaly taken on the name "Leigh Boss", i wonder who's to blame for this?

im quite excited for the summer and what God has got instore for me... will deffinatly be visiting a "bay for the day", that sounds quite fun actually...

but in saying im excited for the summer, i can't help but look back on this year..

ben kendrew said something real cool last night, and i think it really hit home.
he said "you've been a huge asset this year, and it hasnt gone unnoticed" and stuff about having a great first year of uni because i planted myslef in a church and the rest flowed from there.this was so encouraging, and such a great note to leave on this week. and i'd say this is true. iv seen many of my christian friends who have lived in hall with me going out and getting waay drunk, and stop going to church, and its really sad. and its just made me so thankful for my Arise church family and being able to plant myself in such an amazing church that has made me feel pretty at home this year. theyve made what this year has been and im real appreciative of that.

But, have my non-christian friends around me noticed the change in me over the year?  i could take "and it hasnt gone unnoticed" as the fact that people in church have noticed how much time iv put into church etc, but rather, id look at it in the way that have the people around me, who dont go to church, my nonchristian friends at hall, and at tcol, have they noticed that iv been an asset to them? do they think iv been an asset to them? have i showen church to them in a way that they havent seen church before?
i know my hall friends knew they wouldnt seen me much on a sunday because sunday is church day
and im always there helping out. but did i invite them enough?
i know my tcol mates know that im a christian and know the values i have in my heart and in my life. but is it enough?
im left pondering these questions as i start to pack, ready to go "home" on thursday.

thats another change that has happened this year... where is home now? is it Christchurch, or is it Nelson?  i guess only the heart knows... and im hoping it will tell me sooner or later.

Because i'd quite like to know..

buuuut...in the mean time...bring on leaders party and amazing race... what a great way to finish an even greater year.

man i love my life :)
