i seem to have unintentionaly taken on the name "Leigh Boss", i wonder who's to blame for this?
im quite excited for the summer and what God has got instore for me... will deffinatly be visiting a "bay for the day", that sounds quite fun actually...
but in saying im excited for the summer, i can't help but look back on this year..
ben kendrew said something real cool last night, and i think it really hit home.
he said "you've been a huge asset this year, and it hasnt gone unnoticed" and stuff about having a great first year of uni because i planted myslef in a church and the rest flowed from there.this was so encouraging, and such a great note to leave on this week. and i'd say this is true. iv seen many of my christian friends who have lived in hall with me going out and getting waay drunk, and stop going to church, and its really sad. and its just made me so thankful for my Arise church family and being able to plant myself in such an amazing church that has made me feel pretty at home this year. theyve made what this year has been and im real appreciative of that.
But, have my non-christian friends around me noticed the change in me over the year? i could take "and it hasnt gone unnoticed" as the fact that people in church have noticed how much time iv put into church etc, but rather, id look at it in the way that have the people around me, who dont go to church, my nonchristian friends at hall, and at tcol, have they noticed that iv been an asset to them? do they think iv been an asset to them? have i showen church to them in a way that they havent seen church before?
i know my hall friends knew they wouldnt seen me much on a sunday because sunday is church day and im always there helping out. but did i invite them enough?

i know my tcol mates know that im a christian and know the values i have in my heart and in my life. but is it enough?
im left pondering these questions as i start to pack, ready to go "home" on thursday.
Because i'd quite like to know..
buuuut...in the mean time...bring on leaders party and amazing race... what a great way to finish an even greater year.
man i love my life :)
